The Brock Performing Arts Center, as it is known today, was originally constructed as a school auditorium for Mocksville Elementary and High School in 1951. It served the community for 44 years and was used extensively for uncounted presentations and programs including school chapel programs, school and adult drama presentations, music recitals, pageants, concerts, religious services, and instructional classes. It was a facility for use by all of the people of Davie County.

In 1997 a community capital campaign for renovation was completed and a year later the Brock Auditorium was transformed into the Brock Performing Arts Center. In January of 1998 the facility was once again opened to the community. The 483-seat "Brock" is managed by the Davie County Arts Council. It is home to their annual performance season and can be scheduled for use by other community organizations.

The BPAC is located at 622 North Main Street in Mocksville, NC.
